What is Fashion Illustration?

Great question, and the answer to it is simple - nowadays it is an art form, people love to purchase illustrations for their homes, they are used in fashion magazines, as well as communicating designs details to manufacturers - not so much anymore now that technology has advanced so much.  You can always google what it is right? From a fashion illustrators point of view you would have to ask a fashion illustrator. You're in luck because I am one. Long story short way back in the day people would need to illustrate looks for magazines to show people how to wear that seasons latest fashion, but as time progressed so did technology and photography became king in communicating fashion - making illustrations more of a art form and for me thats how I look at it.    Here are some examples below of my work as a fashion illustrator -

Failure is the Key to Success

  I love this quote by Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich. Im proud I can say I have a life of continuous failures 😂 let me explain…    without trying or putting action first you cannot fail or succeed. Failures or rejections is God saving you for something better. Im proud to have failures and successes in my life.    The drawing you see is my first sketch I did sober she is pretty miserable looking and to be honest I wasn’t feeling so hot myself. That was the start of Bella Bonita though and even though the thought of painting for 12 hours straight was unearthly to me, Im able to do it now not realizing the time.    The point is try - take action and fail at something today - failure is more common than the “success” you see unfortunately social media makes you think otherwise
